Dove World Christian Center Koran Burning

Pastor Terry Jones of Gainsville, Florida wants to hold a Koran burning ceremony on September 11, 2010. He feels that the Koran burning ceremony will "honor those who where brutally murdered" and send a powerful message to radical Islam that we will not tolerate their actions.

However US government officials believe that this ceremony will endanger solders lives over seas.

"It could endanger troops and it could endanger the overall effort in Afghanistan," Gen. David Petraeus said in a statement issued Monday.
