Eiffel TowerMore the 2,000 people were evacuated as police respond to anonymous call that said they were going to blow up the 1,063ft Eiffel Tower. Around 150 police officers including the bomb squad responded to the call.

The call turned out to be a false alarm. With over 6 million visitors a year Paris, France doesn't take threats lightly. The tower was built in 1889 and they want to protect the safety of their most iconic structure.

This isn't the first time the Eiffel Tower was evacuated. Back in 2005 the Eiffel Tower was evacuated for another anonymous bomb threat. In 2003 the tower was evacuated due to a fire.
