Today in front of 200 journalists and industry partners Microsoft presented it's latest iteration in its Internet Explorer software 9.0 Internet Explorer software 9.0.
This move from Microsoft couldn't have come at a better time. With constant updates from their competitors Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 8 seemed like a thing of the past. With no html5 or css3 support IE was falling behind.
Microsoft didn't become a multi-billion dollar company by falling behind though. They went back to the labs and created a whole new, one-of-a-kind experience with Internet Explorer 9.
With IE 9 you have the ability to 'pin' websites onto the taskbar by simply dragging the website to the taskbar. This will place a little icon the taskbar and when clicked will launch the website instantly. This is just one of may additions in Internet Explorer 9.
If you're looking for a whole new way to browse the internet, or you just want to update your old Internet Explorer, we would recommend IE 9.
