Taylor Swift is used to singing in front of thousands of people, but her performance at the VMA's was unlike any of her previous performances.
With the thoughts of last years Kanye West incident on her mind, some people expected her to just hide in the crowd. However, that wasn't the case. Taylor Swift gave a powerful performance with her new song Speak Now. The song had a lot of meaning behind it and it was geared towards Kanye West. She didn't resort to bashing him though, her song was about "life goes on". Kanye West also had a performance last night and he released a new song about how his life isn't perfect. He didn't mention the Taylor Swift incident, but most people claim that it's about the incident that took place last year.
